Questions & answers

Clarity is a good
place to start.

A few things school leaders, teachers, and teams often want to understand before the first conversation.

Is this meant to replace teachers?

No. ELINA 2.0 supports preparation, explanation, practice, assessment, and insight into learning needs. Teachers bring judgement, care, and classroom context. The aim is to make more room for that human work, while helping students arrive better prepared to participate.

How is ELINA 2.0 different from a library of videos?

Content is a useful starting point. ELINA adds a responsive learning journey: ask a follow-up, explore an idea visually, try a question, and use feedback to decide what to practise next. The focus shifts from completing content to building understanding.

What does “agentic ERP” mean for our staff?

Start with what you need to get done, in everyday language. Iris OS helps gather relevant information and move routine work forward, so staff depend less on memorised menus or the one colleague who knows every screen. Actions, permissions, and review steps depend on the institution’s agreed setup.

Can we start with one product?

Yes. We can discuss ELINA 2.0, Iris OS, or a connected rollout, beginning with your institution’s most important learning or operations need.

Will our teachers need to be technology experts?

No. Demonstrations and onboarding begin with their day: preparing a lesson, adapting an activity, checking understanding, or following up with a learner. We introduce the experience around those tasks and agree support with the school.

What happens in a school demonstration?

Bring a real learning challenge or a workflow that takes too much effort. We walk through relevant examples, discuss the people involved, and cover adoption, data, access, support, and pricing.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the products, institution size, rollout scope, and support arrangements. Those details are set out in a proposal after we understand your needs. There is no payment step on this website.

How do you handle student and institutional data?

Our User Data Policy describes ownership, intended use, and information rights. During evaluation, we discuss the access, retention, and data arrangements that apply to your institution.

Will AI make students lazy or dependent on answers?

It can, if students use it only to skip the thinking. ELINA’s learning approach is built around participation: explain an idea in your own words, try a problem, use a hint, and practise again. Teachers still set expectations and assess independent work. The aim is a learner who needs less help over time, not more.

What about creativity and critical thinking?

A useful learning tool should make room for original thought. Students can question an explanation, compare approaches, make something, test it, and explain their choices. ELINA’s wider journey connects understanding with projects, skill development, reflection, and future direction. AI output should be a starting point to examine, not a substitute for the student’s own judgement.

What does the Harvard AI tutoring research actually show?

A 2025 randomised study in a Harvard undergraduate physics course found higher learning gains with a carefully designed AI tutor than with in-class active learning across the two lessons studied. It supports taking learning design seriously: pacing, feedback, and active participation matter. The study did not evaluate ELINA, and its results are not a promise of the same outcome for every learner or school. The full paper explains the setting and limitations.

Does ELINA support students beyond school subjects?

Yes. The wider EduSuite connects academic understanding and practice with skill building, projects, higher-education exploration, career direction, and preparation for opportunities. The story is one learner growing over time. We demonstrate the relevant journey and agree its scope with your institution.
